Your Gift... A Cross Carried Around the World

"We are a Missionary Congregation. Our principal service in the Church is to
Proclaim Christ and His Kingdom to the most abandoned.  We preach the Gospel
among people who have not yet received it and help them see their own values in its light."
St. Eugene De Mazenod, founder of the Missionary Oblates

Oblate Cross

We have reserved a very special Oblate Cross for you. This cross is similar to the one each Oblate missionary carries with him to foreign lands. We hope it will become one of your most meaningful possessions – a special connection with the crucified Christ and with the Oblates.

You will receive your very own Oblate Cross when you accept our invitation to join the Oblate Mission Friendship Club. It’s given exclusively to new members of this group, who are dedicated to providing monthly support for the Oblate missions.

In nearly 70 countries Oblate missionaries endure great hardships to provide food, medicine and God’s hope to the poor. As a club member you will stand with them in their ministry to preach the Gospel to the poor. Your gift of $5, $10, $15 or whatever you can spare each month will help our missionaries as they carry Christ’s Cross and His love to the poor in foreign lands.

Sign up on-line to make monthly credit card donations and receive a Oblate Cross.

Here are just a few of the ways that your gift can make a lasting impact on the lives of the poor:

$5 a month can provide doctor visits for the poor in Tijuana, Mexico.

$10 a month can build simple homes for families in Zambia.

$15 a month can help provide essential support for seminarians in Poland.

As a Club member, you will also receive our exclusive Oblate Mission Friendship Club News to keep you informed four times a year on the Oblates’ ministries.  You, too, can continue in the footsteps of founder St. Eugene De Mazenod in his mission of – Serving the World’s Poor.
