In 1938, Pope Pius XI recognized the Missionary Oblates as “specialists in difficult missions.”  We consider this high praise and strive to continue to reach out to those most in need.  Your generosity helps us do just that.

For more than 187 years, the Missionary Oblates have been invited by dioceses in the United States and in countries throughout the world to staff those parishes and missions which require special care because of political strife, economic hardships, underdeveloped facilities, or lack of personnel. 

Our monthly giving programs rely on donors who are dedicated, committed, and proud to be partners with us.  As a donor of one or more of these monthly programs, you will receive updates about the ministries you are supporting.  Knowing we can count on the support we receive from monthly giving programs enables us to better serve those in need. 

Donations for these giving programs may be made monthly, quarterly, annually, or semi-annually – whatever is convenient for you. 

Mission-Friendship Club: This program supports education of seminarians as well as the ministries of the Missionary Oblates.

Mary’s Circle of Friends: This program supports the Oblates’ Sharing Fund which offers financial assistance to specific Oblate ministries and other organizations which share the Oblates’ focus of helping those most in need.

Shrine Advocates: The National Shrine of Our Lady of Snows is a place of peaceful prayer and worship that hosts over one million pilgrims a year.  On our 200 landscaped acres, pilgrims finding healing, prayer, and serenity.

Tekakwitha Indian Missions: The Missionary Oblates’ ministry among Native Americans is truly one of our most rewarding.  For more than 70 years, Missionary Oblates have worked to serve Native Americans and in turn those we serve have opened their homes and their hearts to us.  Today, Missionary Oblates work on two reservations – one in Sisseton, South Dakota, and one in White Earth, Minnesota.
