Spiritual Enrollment Card

When someone dies, the grief we expierience can be overwhelming.  As we mourn, we look for ways to ease the pain.  For Catholics, turning to our faith helps us through such diffucult times. 

Praying for the deceased is an important way to help us through our grief, and to remember the departed.  This is why the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate offer an Our Lady of the Snows Spiritual Gift Enrollment Folder.  This beautiful folder can be used when someone you know faces the death of a loved one.  The person you enroll will be remembered in the prayers and Masses of the Missionary Oblates at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows. 

In thanksgiving for your participation in this program, my fellow Oblates and I want to remember you in our prayers.  Please take a moment to send us your special intentions. 

A candle is a beautiful sign of love and remembrance.  You may have a Votive Candle lit at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows for you or a loved one. 

Another way to remember and honor a deceased person is by having a memorial plaque engraved and displayed in our Resurrection Garden.  At the Garden, the deceased will be prayed for by the Missionary Oblates and Shrine visitors.
