Resurrection Garden The RESURRECTION GARDEN, located at the end of the Way of the Cross, depicts Christ’s triumphant Resurrection on Easter Sunday.  This beautiful site is located in a secluded glen surrounded by beds of flowers.
The exterior of the cave resembles a common stone, but inside it are an empty slab and an ever-burning flame, symbols of Christ’s victory over death and His promise of everlasting life.
A Prayer Capsule at the Resurrection Garden contains the names of the deceased persons who are remembered in prayer at the annual All Souls Novena. Memorial plaques at the Resurrection Garden are especially appropriate for deceased loved ones.
The nearly 4,000 Oblate priests and brothers throughout the world will pray for all those memorialized at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows. Also, over one million pilgrims to the Shrine a year will be asked to pray for those remembered by your Memorial.
