Fatima - Let me remember your petitions through Our Lady of Fatima

In the past, I’ve had the honor of presiding at a special Mass at the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima in Portugal. What made the Mass special was that thousands of friends of the Missionary Oblates, friends like you, joined me on the special pilgrimage.

Fatima is truly a place of conversion. And while the Mass was the highlight of my pilgrimage, I was also grateful for the chance to examine in greater detail the message of Our Lady of Fatima.

Across several appearances to the three shepherd children in 1917, Our Lady revealed God’s wishes for there to be a great devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary to save souls from Hell. She told the children, “Pray, pray very much and make sacrifices for sinners. For many souls go to Hell because there is no one to pray for them.”

The wish of Our Lady of Fatima was for a global return to devotion. Yet for most of us today, the message of Fatima can be less global and more personal. Have you drifted away from your faith? Or do you have a loved one who is in need of spiritual renewal?

Often, I hear from people who are sad because a family member or friend does not believe or practice their faith. I want to pray for these people, through the intercession of Our Lady of Fatima. This is why I’m writing today: To offer you the opportunity to submit names of your loved ones to be remembered at two special Masses of Healing on October 13, 2022, commemorating the last apparition at Fatima in 1917. These Masses will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto and Tepeyac de San Antonio in Texas and the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows in Belleville, Illinois.

Send your prayer petitions

Please send me your needs for healing and those of your loved ones.  Your petitions will be present at the altar during both of these special Masses so your prayers for healing will be included in our prayers.

Donation

It is a privilege for me to place your needs before Our Lady of Fatima. Your donation will support the Missionary Oblates and improve the lives of poor and needy people around the world.

The Missionary Oblates found great need when they arrived in Ukraine in 1989, they immediately began restoring churches — placing a statue of Our Lady of Fatima in each one. Ukrainians, who had suffered greatly under Soviet rule, made Our Lady a central part of their prayer life at Oblate churches.

Today, we petition Our Lady of Fatima on behalf of all those who are displaced and suffering in the Russia-Ukraine war.
