After 40 days of sacrifice, repentance, and prayer, faithful Catholics eagerly await the celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. The holiest day in the Christian religion, Easter is a time of renewal, rebirth, and redemption. At the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows, the celebration begins on Palm Sunday and contiues with events throughout the week, culminating in a beautiful, outdoor Easter liturgy.
