Rain falls gently from the heavens.
Fragrant flowers spring from the earth.
Hope rides on the winds whose singing
celebrate a great rebirth.
Somewhere in my heart the sunshine
of God’s love breaks through the pain
To prod the sodden seeds of promise
into flowering life again.
Overhead a rainbow reaches,
joining earth and sky above,
As deep within, my heart finds healing,
through the wonder of His love.
