Dear Friends,

Each year at Christmas time, some of us receive a very special blessing. It is the sacred moment when all the festivities around us fade for just a moment and we feel the presence of Christ in our hearts. It is a feeling that no present, nor carol, nor special ham, could bring. It is a feeling that is a true gift of God. The Gift of Christ in our hearts.

I hope that this edition of Oblates Magazine will help inspire you to keep the holy night of our Savior’s birth alive in your heart this Christmas. As with each edition of Oblates Magazine, a special group of my friends has helped to write, design, illustrate, and proofread this special publication to ensure that it will both fascinate and inspire.
