Dear Friend,
On November 2, All Souls Day, I want to place a Rose of Remembrance at the Church of Our Lady of the Snows for your departed loved ones. Your roses, along with thousands of others, will honor these special people. And your donation will help the Oblates bring hope to poor and needy people here in the United States and around the world.
There are several other ways for you to show your love on All Souls Day:
- Honor your departed loved ones with an Annual or Perpetual Enrollment.
- Have a Candle of Remembrance lit for them. This is a beautiful way to let your love shine brightly for a deceased family member or friend.
- Have your loved one remembered in perpetuity with an engraved Memorial in the Resurrection Garden at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows.
- Choose a Gift of Remembrance to help keep the memory of your loved ones alive.
- Send me your prayer intentions so my fellow Oblates and I can personally remember your special needs in our daily prayers.
All Souls Day reminds us that our departed loved ones are still with us in spirit. Together we are the Communion of Saints. Although we may be physically separated from each other, we are united to each other as members of the Church, and we continue to pray for each other. May you find peace in the Lord this All Souls Day.
In Jesus Christ and Mary Immaculate,
Fr. John Madigan, O.M.I. Oblate Director
