The CHILDREN”S PLAYGROUND celebrates the wonders of God’s creation, the sacredness of life itself, and the joy and playfulness of childhood.  Located near the Shrine Hotel and the Visitors Center, this site gives families the opportunity to enjoy recreation while learning about the Christian faith. 

Memorials at the CHILDREN’S PLAYGROUND are appropriate to honor children, either living or deceased, or to express gratitude for the sacredness of all life.

The 4,500 Oblate priests and brothers throughout the world will pray for all memorials at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows.  Also, over one million pilgrims to the Shrine a year will be asked to pray for those remembered by your memorial.
